Foreword

The title of this blog (In Dubio Pro Equus) is latin for 'when in doubt, for the horse'.

The reason behind this title is that most often situations are percieved to be done for the horse but are not, whether that is intentional or not, our mind tends to direct us to seeing things from our perspective (obviously). However sometimes things would be better for the horse if seen through its eyes or with their needs placed first. After all these great animals deserve that and more.

The purpose of this blog is:

1. To inform, to criticise and comment aspects and events of the equestrian world.

2. To give different perspectives on common matters, help solve problems through my personal equestrian experience. This should not  be considered as an attempt to present an absolute truth, its just my personally best informed opinion.

3. To generally comment on events, aspects, situations, methods or ideas. Nothing in this blog is meant as a personal attack on any person, nationality, discipline or any other category the discussed topic may belong to.

4. I may occasionally incur in incorrect claims or affirmations, and since behind these words is a normal human being, that might as well happen, in such case I will gladly accept corrections and constructive criticisms as long as they are respectful and informed. After all the purpose of this, as stated in point #1 is to knowledgeably inform. All topics in this blog have been constructed through additional research other than using my personal empirical evidence so simply claiming 'I don't know what I'm talking about' will not suffice unless backed up by sources that contradict my personal studies.
